This is also the case for things like Toxic, PoiZone, Serum, Massive, etc. If you were to say, plug in MIDI keyboard into your phone / tablet, and then use the Mod Wheel, it'll actually work as intended, and you don't need to do this. Why is it like this? Well, Minisynth is a synth from FL Studio mobile. This is the parameter you need to be adjusting. You can also see that when I adjust that "Amount" knob under the Mod Wheel, that it does affect the strength of the "Mod Wheel" (MIDI CC 1). Then you can link that to whatever controller you want, for the sake of demonstration, I linked it to a Fruity XYZ controller, but you can use an actually MIDI keyboard wheel. You can see that MIDI CC 1 is the actual Mod Wheel you need to adjust. Here's a short video I made in my own FL with Minisynth from scratch You'll need to link the MIDI CC message that sends "Mod Wheel" information to the synth The knob that you are controlling is only adjust the amount that the Mod Wheel does. Very weird but it's a weird combination of the way MIDI was programmed and introduced, and how FL handles MIDI stuff They are not linkable to a controller, so you have to link the specific MIDI CC value to the wheel. This also works for third party plugins like Serum, Massive, and other various plugins that have Mod Wheels. MIDI CC 1 is the mod wheel parameter, so you can link this CC to any knob or slider really, and then now you are sending "Mod Wheel" to the synth. Right click "MIDI CC 1" and then Link to Controller. Scroll down to the section of various "MIDI CC" Values. In your browser on the left, you see a list of a parameters the synth has, you can do this with any synth you want too. Go to the arrow in the top left corner of the Fruity Wrapper and click "Browse Parameters". This also applies to synths like Toxic Biohazard, PoiZone, Sakura, etc, you may notice a lot of the presets have "Mod wheel does this" thing but there's no mod wheel within the actual plugin (Except PoiZone) You're going to have to send a specific MIDI CC value for the synth to recognize it as the "Mod wheel". There's no dedicated control knob for it like the pitch and pan knob. Thanks in advance to any and all who can help. Am i using the mod wheel area incorrectly? Is my controller not being detected as having a mod wheel even though it most definitely does? I know i could probably just use a different vst and have an easier time setting up something so simple, but minisynth IS simple, and there's ways to do this on mobile with the accelerometer. I'm confused as to why this is happening. all the settings in lfo are just static, and always activated. However no matter where i set the pot in the mod wheel section, it doesn't do anything. I then head to the LFO tab, and set things the way i want them (rate: 3/8, destination: frequency, lfo amount +12). For instance, in minisynth, i have the mod wheel set to "lfo". I can technically have the mod wheel set to control the modulation pot in minisynth, but for the life of me i can't get it to affect anything i am setting anywhere else in the synthesizer. I set up the pitch wheel no problemo, but the mod wheel is a different story. However the two things that were not set up automatically were the pitch and mod wheels. I have a nektar impact LX49+ connected and set up properly, which ties natively into fl studio on many levels. In the manual for minisynth it states: " NOTE: Mod Wheel is only available when a MOD Wheel MIDI controller is connected." In my case, i just want standard lfo modulation like you'd find on many standard synthesizers. Minisynth has a section labeled "mod wheel", which is supposed to allow you to select a modulation target. It has the exact sound I'm looking for but I am having an issue. I'm messing around with the minisynth plugin that comes with fl studio. Hey everyone, first time poster here, i have a question that doesn't seem to have an answer anywhere on in the internet that's bugging me.
